Chris Glover was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Ontario in 2018 and represents the riding of Spadina-Fort York. He is the Official Opposition Critic for Colleges and Universities.
Prior to his election to the legislature, Chris was a TDSB Trustee, a member of the Toronto Board of Health and an Adjunct Professor at York University.
He has served the Spadina-Fort York area coaching kids soccer at Christie Pits and hockey at Bill Bolton Arena. He has served on the Dufferin Grove Resident's Association and the TDSB’s Trinity Spadina Ward Council.
He became politically active as a parent fighting cuts to schools during the Harris/Eves government.
He has used his positions on the TDSB and Board of Health to advocate with community groups for city-wide changes to improve bicycle safety, employment opportunities for people with disabilities, and to take a public health approach to community violence. Most recently he:
